Problem watching online videos with Google Chrome

Ever since I did a fresh install of Windows 7 (RTM 7600.16385 build), I've been having certain issues with online videos.

Up until installing Windows 7, I was a huge Firefox fan, but a couple of months ago, I decided to give Google Chrome a try, and I'm just loving every minute of it, well except for one single, very annoying, issue/bug. There are times that, for me to watch an online video (say youtube.com, mlb.com, you name it, any flash-based video), I have to wait for the whole video to be fully loaded, to be able to watch it. Let's say I want to watch a youtube.com video, once I click the link, all I see is the black screen with the buffering logo in the middle, up until the video is fully loaded. Now this didn't happen to me with Vista + Firefox.

Is this a Windows 7 problem? or a Google Chrome problem? What should I do?

    Please Help.

    Specs:

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 BE @ Stock
    ASUS M3A78-EM (780G chipset)
    Corsair XMS2 4GB DDR2 800 Mhz @ stock.
Radeon HD 3200 (780G's onboard GPU), using Catalyst 9.5
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    Google Chrome latest official build
Using Adobe Flash Player's latest build
Using Windows 7's stock drivers for everything except for Video Card, not sure if I need to install the Chipset driver. Should I?

    Thanks In advanced.

Does it due the same thing with 7 + Firefox?
If not, it is a Chrome problem.
If so, try actually find the chipset drivers. Vista drivers should work ok.

I take it that you have the latest version of flash player installed ... now that we have that out of the way, I suspect that this is actually a chrome problem implementing video streaming in flash. I have never had a problem like the one you describe using FF 3.5.3 .. Hopefully this will be addressed by the developers of Chrome..

install the latest java and adobe flash.
but it is true most of the times (my experience) that IE8 works better for watching youtube videos in HD than google chrome.

This was solved by uninstalling Kaspersky Internet Security.

Don't know is that's the case for you Abran.

Not adding any kind of help, but just pointing out the irony. You give him a link to watch a youtube video to help him fix his problem watching youtube videos. LOL But at least you're trying to help.
