IE9 Error message in small box

I get this message when I try to open a new browser window or open a link from within another page in a new tab 90% of the time.

I have checked ie9 for update, ran many virus checkers, reg cleaners etc.

    Got me stumped .

Any one else seen it and worked out the reason?

    Cheers Bazzle

Well that's an error error Makes it interesting doesn't it? Try this:

Open IE> Click Tools (Gear) icon upper right> Internet Options> Advanced tab> In the settings list, tick the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes> Untick the Display a notification about every script error check box> Apply and OK your way out

If the error goes away, untick the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes, and leave the Display a notification about every script error check box unticked

See if the error returns or stays away.

    Ill give it a go.
The Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer was already ticked.
    But the "other" was not.

Sadly for me that didnt work

If I dont imediately press the ok button the box greys out and after about a minute the page I wanted opens in a new tab.

See if the same problem occurs when using Internet Explorer (No add-ons)

Start> In search box type Internet Explorer (No add-ons)> Enter

See if it happens using that. A Guy

You could, but I wouldn't, may find sites that need certain add-ons. You can try disabling one at a time until you find the culprit. Feel free to post a screen shot of your add-ons if you'd like us to look at them.

Many thanks for your time. All seems to be OK atm.
I am cycling thru the add ons.
If I work out which one brings it back Ill post back.

Surprised it isn't a scripting error, but sure you'll find the trigger

Used to refresh ie9 windows where Im collecting my Solar electricty data.

Ill need another way to keep automatically refresh the required windows now as I have disabled it.
