    Chrome 'New Tab' issues

    So.. Any 'new tab' related extension are automatically remove every single time I closes my Chrome. What the hell is happening?

    I even stop downloading Awesome New Tab Page because it WILL get uninstall the next time I re-open my Chrome.

    Then I started dragging so many sites to the default 'new tab' page to turn them into App.. Guess what? It was removed as well.. I'm out of my wits now. HELP

    I tried clean re-install too. Googled for solution, apparently, I'm the only one who's having the problem.

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

    To avoid a lot of Q & A about your hardware and OS configuration, please click on this link to
    Edit System Specs

    Filling this out, at least partially, will save a lot of time. Another advantage is when posting a new problem, the person answering can just click the My System Specs link in the bottom of your post. No need to search for the information.

    If you have multiple systems just indicate that in the System Specs so that we know why many of the fields are blank.

    =================================================

    A couple of specific suggestions: ask a Mod to move your post to Browsers and Email forum; provide some information that's specific such as what branch of chromium/chrome/Iron etc. you are talking about, the version number, and the home page of the extension if it's a particular one.

    There's probably people still using chrome 16 out there all the way up to 25.x nightly builds. Just saying "chrome" doesn't tell much.

    Please do as mentioned above ^

    Also is the issue with tab related extensions only or is it all chrome extensions that won't install correctly?

    The reason I left it blank because I seriously have no idea where to find those info to type in!! T_T

    It's hard to explain/describe my problem but Imma give it a go..
    I'm not really experiencing any extension issue except when/if I tries to install an extension that overrides the default 'new tab' page. Chrome will remove it after I closes down the browser.

    Also, I did a clean uninstall/re-install and discovered all those sites I've dragged into the App section(I hope you know what I meant by that) of the default 'new tab' page WILL be mysteriously gone after I close down my browser as well.

    This really baffled me coz this starting to happened 2 days ago. FOR NO APPARENT REASON!!
