    Windows Live Mail stopped sending

I am using Windows Live Mail and after sending out some email this morning, it stopped working. I get this error message:

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was 'XXXXXX@XXXX'. [real email address deleted]
    Subject 'gg'
    Server Error: 452
Server Response: 452 4.7.0 [F12] Exceeded sending limits.
    Server: 'smtp.q.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC78
    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 587
    Secure(SSL): No

At first, since it says "exceeded sending limits" I thought it was a problem with my ISP, but after calling them and sucessfully emailing using the web based email, it now appears to be a Live Mail problem. I have double checked my settings and they have not changes.

Do a repair of Windows Live Essentials, go to control panel and in Program and Features, and find Windows Live Essentials, click on it like you want to uninstall it. You will notice that by clicking on Windows Live Essentials, you will be prompted to choose to uninstall the programs, or just repair them. Be sure to click on the Repair option before hitting Continue.
From here, the program will automatically look through your installed Windows Live components and repair all of them. It does seem like a bit of a hassle considering if you’re only looking to repair just one of them, but if there are some other components that you have installed that could use a tune-up, it will perform the same maintenance on them as well.

    See if that works.
If not then you need to do a backup first of Windows Live Mail
then uninstall Windows Live Mail and reinstall it

    To backup Windows live mail
    File
    Export Mail
    pick
Microsoft Windows Live Mail as the option
Browse to a folder to put it in (you need to make one first and there should be nothing it it already)
    Click Next
Click on "Select All folders" (if this doesn not work and bombs out then go back and click on "Selected Folders. Use the cntrl key on keyboard and highlight all the folders you want to save)
Click Next and it will begin to save and finish
Now you can uninstall the program if the repair does not work
Once you reinstall just go back and click Import instead of export

    Hope this helps

    you are very welcome :)
if you are using windows live mail you should make a backup once a week of your emails if you are using a regular isp other than live.mail
With live.mail the webserver holds the emails and contacts
With another isp, it does not
so not to loose important emails you should follow my instructions on backing it up
Within the program when you click on Contacts- on the top middle portion of the program you will see a button to export your contacts as a CSVfile
You should also export your contacts to a folder
