Tools is in the Ribbon / Home tab.

    Does this help:
Right click on the Tools icon (in the ribbon), then click "Add to Quick Access Toolbar".

I don't know how to customize the ribbon in WLM, or if it's possible.
For me the Tools icon is in the Ribbon / Home tab.

David - I followed the tutorial. As my ribbon screenshot shows I have no pull down tool menu although I think I have the latest version (see”about” screenshot). HELP!

You have the Tools group in your screenshot.
If I make my WLM window wider, then my Tools icon expands to look like yours.

What you see for Tools is all there is for WLM as far as I know.
If you make your window narrower, I expect it will display Tools like mine does.

Thanks for your help but i don’t know how to change the width of the WLM ribbon. Another post talked about a repair function under tools.

I believe the tools tab was removed from WLM 2012.

Looking at your screen print in post #5, your WLM window is in "Full Screen" mode.
Click on the little icon to the left of the Red X in the upper right corner.
That will take the window out of Full Screen mode.

Then you can move the cursor to an edge of the window.
When the cursor changes to a "double pointed arrow", left mouse click.
Holding the left mouse button down you can move the mouse to make the window larger or smaller.

If you click that icon next to the Red X when a window is not in Full Screen mode, it will maximize the window to Full Screen.
