...Yes there is a junk mail popup in Windows Live Mail and to get it back...In your case it is set to 1.
I'm still on WLM 2009 and it also has the pop-up dialog and registry settings. Perhaps the confusion is that most people would call it a "dialog" rather than a "pop-up" since most dialogs do popup on the screen in order to be seen. What I wish I could find is a way to set the Junk mail filter to also "mark as read" as you can do with Inbox mail filtering rules that auto-delete stuff.

    Hi Ron,

Do you get pop-ups for junk mail in WLM 2009?
I have WLM 2012 and I don't remember ever seeing a pop-up for Junk mail (or any mail).

I checked, and my registry setting is 0 for Don't Show Junk Dialog
So, I should get a pop-up when I get Junk mail (I think)

Maybe the registry setting is a leftover from WLM 2009 that doesn't work with WLM 2012?

Right now I'm trying to figure out how to send myself Junk mail to see how this works

OK, i figured out how to send myself Junk mail, and I can get this message with WLM 2012.

Is this the pop-up you are wanting?
If so, my guess is you clicked the "Please do not show me this dialog again" checkbox.
That would probably change the Registry setting...

I was thinking "Pop-Up" meant the way Outlook displays a pop-up above the Tray Icons when new mail arrives.

    That's what I mean exactly.

I'm not sure what version of WLM you have but here is my registry

What are the other Windows Live entries above in your registry?

Yes, that's what I said, with the caveat that it should be called something else, like "dialog box".

Perhaps you can get it back by adding it.
