ie9/10 crashes in a very specific instance

hello, i'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but i'm trying to figure out what is causing this crash.

here is some info about the problem.

    OS: windows 7 x64
    internet explorer x86 and x64 v9.0.8112.16 421 & ie 10 test preview

addons: all disabled except for speckie. (made sure allow 3rd party addons selected)

so this is what happens... i use zimbra webmail client. one of the settings in zimbra has an option for 'compose message in new window' if i set zimbra to use that option, ie9/10 will crash if you try to close the box. i'll get the typical 'are you sure you wish to leave the page' message. if i click leave page, ie will immediately crash and the 'ie has stopped working' box will pop up (actually two boxes will pop up, one covering the other). this is a very specific and unusual error because it only happens if and only if i have 'compose messages in new window' option selected.

i've been in contact with speckie, but they cant reproduce the error. so that leads me to think maybe its something wrong with my system.

edit: turns out it was a very rare bug i stumbled upon with speckie. they were finally able to reproduce the bug and resolve the issue :)
