HELP!! YouTube is dead slow

hey guys, really appreciate some help here

I am facing a strange issue with You tube in my Windows 7 pc. Its dead slow since last couple of days. For example, a 0:20 sec video takes almost 10 mins to buffer and play and sometime it doesnt start to buffer at all....i tired it with IE 8, Chrome, Firefox but no luck at all.

Strange thing is all other video sites seem to be work properly. I initially thought it has got to do something with Youtube site itself, but my friend seem to find You Tube very fast at his house.

What seems to be the problem, as my head is boggled thinking about this? Please help guys

Have you tried it with another known, working computer in your house? It could be your Service Provider.

I tried it in my XP laptop as well, its the same case, i also tried connecting my pc using a datacard and accessing you tube. The site loads really fast but the video buffers really slow

if both computers are doing it, then its not you. Either your ISP or youtube is having problems buffering quickly.

Flash player has a known problem that matches exactly what you are describing. There is at least one thread here with the fix described, and it is also described at Adobe, somewhere.

I will search for the links, but I think you can right click a youtube video, settings, advanced - this will take you to the Adobe suport site.

I've been facing the same issue, some people have been reporting that changing DNS worked for them.

I have tried, and videos seem to load in decent time. Here is guide:

Maybe works for you

Uninstall Flash-Clear Everything from browsers history, cache, cookies, etc.
Then follow these instructions

Reinstall Flash

I also recommend using OpenDNS
