Is it ok to use IE right away just after windows boots up

Hiya, a few days ago I've just opened and used IE9 right away when my windows 7 had just boot up with the HDD light still flashing heavily and all the programs and gadgets are still loading. Was wondering could this cause some corruption/error in my windows system or programs? Sorry for the silly question but I'm just kind of worried atm, sorry for my awkard tone.

Hello Lemon Tree,

No worries. It will not hurt anything at all. At worse, you may get a slight delay as IE9 loads.

Windows 7 boots slowly
Hi! My windows 7 installation takes about 4 minutes to boot, I had it for one year. In the beginning it a little less than 2 minutes. I have eliminated unnecessary startup processes using msconfig but it did not help a lot. Is it normal that boot time slows down with time?
