Strange graphics problem.. maybe flash related?

Ok my ASUS F75VD laptop is just a few days old but every browser I try only loads the page about halfway or it's just html.. Chrome does flash fine but IE9 doesn't at all, I've tried numerous reinstalls for everything and the problem is still here

I tried going to a restore point before I updated a lot of the drivers but it still happens, also I am getting an error about AC_RunActiveContent.js.. graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 610M and also have Intel HD Graphics 4000

here are some screenshots, hope they aren't too big

Hello and welcome tpayne mate I don't know where or how you got the NVidia driver but this is the official site Drivers | GeForce

But if you can you could also run this SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker you can do this from safe mode as well.

I ended up just doing a factory reset after restoring earlier points didn't work.. I barely had anything on it so it's not like a lost a whole bunch

thanks for the reply though, from now on I'm just going to manually update the drivers instead of using one of those "free" programs that does it for you, I'm pretty sure that's what caused the problem

Ok TP and the drivers I like to do from the manufacturers site where possible thats why I posted the NVidia one I did earlier and yes don't use those utilities that "do" stuff for you, and that goes for any reg cleaners except CCleaner which is fine and those "free" machine scanners.

If you are in any doubt post in here first and ask as one of the mods says the only dumb question is the one that never gets asked:)
