Google Chrome problem: connecting to webpages slower

So, recently whenever I use Google Chrome it goes slower when I try to do either a Google Search for a phrase or try to connect to a URL. But the issue only occurs when I make a new tab and insert it at the top. If there is a button on the webpage I would be on and I click it, the loading seems to increase.

How can i fix this issue? I already did a Norton virus scan and there were no viruses. Any solution is appreciated.

You might try clearing your browsing history. Note this will prevent suggestions from showing as you start typing web addresses, until you build the history again.

Click the wrench icon on the toolbar upper right, and select Tools> Clear browsing data from the drop-down menu

If no change, you might try disabling extensions to see if that has any effect.

    Hi there A Guy,

I have shut down my computer last night and then turned it on today. When I opened Chrome (like always), I got a notification from Google saying that some extensions have been disabled because they've been making Chrome slower. Below is the list:

    Norton Identity Protection
    RealPlayer HTML5Video Downloader Extension
    Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate
    Youtube to MP3 Converter

    Thank you very much!
