Those of you who have been married a while will understand, but I acted rashly without thinking and now find myself needing to reload MS Int Explorer 11 on my desktop PC in order to stay married. I had replaced it with Firefox 29, but that caused all sorts of problems for my wife when she works...
When using XP, I was able to put the subject shortcut on my desktop by referencing the real History folder in its location: {C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings}. But, I can't seem to find it in this Win7 world?
Can anyone help me find it?

Windows Updates have been a real thorn in my side since moving to the country where I have limited bandwidth ISP. I have 6-7 Windows PCs I (try to) keep updated, both XP and W7. I've tried downloading updates just ONCE using the Microsoft Update Catalog, but then I still have to note what pc needs...
I've had this laptop for less than 2 months now, and have religiously downloaded and installed each and every Update offered via Microsoft, including that bin-full of a couple of weeks ago - all down with little fuss, and no other holdups.
I'm also one who actually checks for updates at least...
