How do I re-size my browser permanently?

    If your zoom settings are not sticking (with any browser), that's an issue imho.
    You can run a system file check to make sure you don't have system integrity problems.
    Use option 2 in this tutorial by Brink:
    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
    I ran the system file check and it reported that everything was fine. Another thing I noticed that is different is that some taskbar icons and even the system tray icons are distorted... this makes me believe it has to do with a driver or some sort of setting :/ I attached a screen shot to show the icons. (Itunes & Wireless)

    You can look in Windows Update to see if any drivers are available for you.

    Looking at the Dell site, I can't be sure what Video Card you have...

    Here is a link to the Dell site for drivers for a Dell Inspiron 545s
    Drivers & Downloads | Dell US

    One way you can see what Video Card and Device Driver you have is
    Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Device Manager
    Right click on the Display Adapter and click properties
