    Trying out Chrome

Not sure where to ask this, so I thought General Discussion would be fine.

I'm giving Chrome a try & it seems to be going along ok, I just have 2 questions as of right now though.
    1. How do I bring my IE bookmarks into Chrome?
    2. When using IE; in the Taskbar, I can see how many tabs are open & if I hover my cursor over the icon, I get a pop-up of each tab so I can just select which to see right away (attached picture). Is there a setting in Chrome which will do the same thing?

    Hello CJW,

Q1) The tutorial below can help show you how to import favorites from IE into Chrome.
Q2) Not sure about taskbar thumbnail previews for Chrome since they have been removed in Windows 7 in the newer versions of Chrome.

    Hope this helps some. :)

    1) You can directly import bookmarks from IE.

Click on 'Wrench' icon. Bookmarks>Import bookmarks and settings.
You can manually select Browsing history, Favorites/Bookmarks, Saved passwords, Search engines.

    2) I am not sure about tab previews.

The aero peek tabs no longer work in chrome as the flag was removed a few releases ago, at least on the stable build anyway.

    Favorites imported into Chrome :)
The Aero Peek Tabs being removed is a disappointment , I really like the feature.
    Thanks for the help everyone.

Hopefully they'll add it back to Chrome in a future update.
