how can I add contacts to windows mail in IE9 ?

    Hi,
The "Windows Mail" i mentioned here is the one to send link, page...of a webpage in IE9,
(access from File>Send>Page by email) . (Windows Live Mail had been set as default)
I would like to add Contacts to this "windows mail" but could find a way to do that, could not
import or transfer Contacts from my current Outlook mail (formerly Hotmail) to it. My OS is win7Pro
    Any recommendation ?
    Thanks

    Hi tony77,

You need to install Download Windows Live Mail 2012 (16.4.3505) - FileHippo.com
When done, sign-in using your Outlook details, contacts will be added automatically.

Got a new computer with win7 and never paid attention to Windows live mail (still access Hotmail then Outlook directly) . Sign in the windows Live mail v.11 like you said and ...voila.
    Thank you Roderunner

Do I need to update to ver.12 ?

You don't need to update if you don't want to.
If you update from WLM 2011 to WLM 2012 you may have issues with sending to a Group, if you want/use that option.
Take a look at this thread for more info about this.
There is a bug in Windows Live Mail Essentials 2012 as an upgrade

I like to keep my PC's updated for "hopefully" security/stability fixes.
If an update breaks something, it becomes a personal choice if updating is the right choice.

    Hi tony77,
I agree with David, plus I never liked Version 11.
