    Firefox 3.5.3 Problem

I hate for my first post to be a problem but I have no where else to turn. I am currently running Firefox 3.5.3 and Windows 7 Ultimate now when I open a web page in firefox it opens fine but its like the page freezes as soon as it opens. For example if I load up Facebook and then click someones page it doesn't load the page unless I move my mouse first. It does this on my downloads window as well and its become quite an annoyance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm running the same version and have no problems. It just might be a problem with your install.

    Hi Ghamper, welcome to sevenforums

Open a command prompt and type taskkill /f /im firefox.exe

Then type this into your 'run' box. %programfiles%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe -safe-mode

If that still doesn't do the trick, completely uninstall firefox reboot and reinstall firefox, let us know.

Glad you got it sorted in the end. Did you try safe mode or did you just go straight for a reinstall?
FEBE extension for Firefox is great for when these sort of things happen

Yes actually I did try the safe mode first with the same result so I just reinstalled.
