Win Live Mail locked up again!

Once again my Win Live Mail client is locked up trying to send a message with an apparent corrupted address or some problem. The Live Mail program is locked up trying to send this message and it's impossible to return to the Live Mail Home page. As Administrator I've gone to the Outbox folder to delete the email message that has hung up the program but I don't have permission to delete it! Unbelievable. I've signed on as Admin but still do not have permission to delete that message. I'm stumped as to how to proceed. This is the second such problem in the past couple of weeks. Help please....and thanks in advance.

have you tried doing a repair? go to control panel/program and features
    click on Windows live Essentials
It will ask you what you would like to do- pick repair and see if it fixes it

Robinb9, that's a hell of a suggestion that I've never heard of or thought of. I'll keep this firmly in mind for the next time this happens because it's happened twice to me now and I expect another one soon enough.
This past hang up has been fixed by deleting the offending message but it was tough to do it with "permissions" giving me a fit. Many thanks for the info.
