    Webpage tries to close window

"the webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window".
This annoying message keeps popping up on some sites, how do I turn it off, of disable it?

Thanks for the reply ThrashZone. It is an Internet Explorer10 popup. Caused by Bing. It has nothing to do with Kaspersky. It seems to pop up usually when doing internet Banking.

some financial sites have a little more security which asks if indeed you meant to close the page. It has happened to me but only if I have clicked to close a tab or window, not on its own.

Hi Britton, it is more than a nuisance, after typing in the security requirements this large popup appears "the webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window". If you type "no", your info disappears. It is most annoying. I have disabled Bing in Managed Popups, but it doesn't work. The bank has its own security, and I have Kaspersky.

One thing I would do is contact the bank to see if they know about the issue, as I said that may be a part of their security with their site coding.
I don't use Kaspersky but I understand it has some kind of secure way to go to bank sites, do you use that?

The bank is aware of the issue, they do not know why this is happening. I have disabled bing search and put in google search, will see how we go.
Yes we use Kaspersky and it is very good.

Hi Britton, I have removed Bing from the search providers, hope that won't interfere with the running of my pc.

I removed all search providers from the browser add-ons but I have a link to Google in my Favorites bar in IE9.
