    Hi,

I haven't installed it on another drive however I did move my mail directory (a storage for sent and received email) into another partition/drive, without any issues.

    Thanks Creer,
I did a search based on your idea and found this,
How to change email storage folder in Windows Live Mail
    looks ok to me,
Couldn't see the point in saving years of emails on the SSD,

    You are welcome.
BTW. If you want to archive your emails I can recommend you free Mailstore Home
    MailStore Home

It can be run as portable app. and from this app you can view, search through emails and also attachments.

It compress emails and attachment and in result disk is less fragmented.
I have over 6k emails but MailStore Home compress it into 240 files.
