Then consider yourself lucky.... Trust me I have had a blog and website for sometime, and I always go to the one folder for uploading images. THAT folder will not show up when I try uploading now. I have to find the photo and send it to another folder to accomplish my goal. I royal PIA, and it started immediately after having IE 10 forced on me. No need to discuss it further...will just deal with it.

I had a brilliant idea to try IE 10 on Windows 7. At first it seemed OK. Then it would not even start. I have since removed it and blocked it again. I didn't know people were still using Norton?

I have always used Norton, and until I have a noticeable problem with it I will continue. Each to his own I guess...

    Absolutely,
There are much better options out there these days,
I would recommend these after a fresh install of windows 7,

    Freebie from microsoft,
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials
Save money and add the full pro version of malwarebytes,
    Works well with MSE,
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
Then use the free version of this as well for even more ways to clean your machine,

My PC came with Windows installed...no disc. Bottom line "again" is that my computer was running fine UNTIL IE 10 came along. I am dealing with it best I can. Just ticked off that I did not have the option to NOT install it.
