Windows 7: I am having a run time error while opening a link at youtube.

First: What do you mean with 'Use the recommended setup and install options.'?
In addition, I really wouldn't think there is need to shout down the computer, it is sufficient to IE be restarted again

Finally: I really have an up to date version of Windows 7 home premium (64-bit). However, I didn't see any IE 10 installed.
Thus, if I have needed th IE 10, should I install it manually?

I'm starting to wonder if you ever shut down your machine ?
Most windows updates do not fully install unless the computer shuts down or at the very least boots your machine to complete,

After a proper reset I find it not a bad idea to shut down/ all open application are forced to close if open and you get a fresh start up,
Then when you open internet explorer after a reset there will be a popup message asking to use Express setting (recommended) or Custom,
I suggested the Recommended option.

When opening a link.
When I open up a website and click on a link the window opens up about a third the size of my screen from the top is there a way to stop this. Regards Parkwood.
