    How do i get


    Hi Guys how do I get the internet options drop down box,or window,when trying to do this it tells me to close all other programs before doing this but I cant find how to get the tools cog to get the drop down box when all windows are closed.?????what f1 or what thanks graham

    Hi gsau22,

    To get your internet options click on the windows button then click on "Control Panel." Once the control panel comes up go to "Internet Options," and click on Icon to open the file. . .Good Luck. . .

    Yes the Windows logo key or Start button,
    You can also simply type in the bottom Search box what your looking for,
    Type internet options in the search box and a suggestion will appear/ click on it.
    But the odd thing is that your getting the popup to close internet explorer to access internet options ?
    Not a normal thing to happen.
    Possibly a user account issue is present ?

    I must have something wrong? I keep seeing these 'long way around' instructions & all I have to do is go to the top of my screen for 'Tools' or 'Gear' to get to options.

    I have used the start button bottom left and opened properties on internet explorer then clicked on target and cleaned the target line or start to leave only internet explorer then restarted and hey my google is back, thanks guys
