    Windows Mail equivalent

I'm very used to using Windows Mail and I am perfectly satisfied with the way it works. The problem is Microsoft decided not to allow it to function on any operating system after Vista

I've ben looking online for replacements but have struggled to find an email service that fulfils my requirements. I have several email accounts and I want to be able to view the emails from them all in one inbox. Mozilla Silverlight lets you add different accounts but they all have individual inboxes so when I want to look at my emails I have to click each and every inbox which is very time consuming indeed.

I don't want to use Windows Live Mail because it suffers from the same problem unfortunately. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello Dr. Cons, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you like, you could use Windows Live Mail for what you wanted.

While it will have a separate set of inboxes per account, you can leave them collapsed, and just use "Quick Views" to see your email from all accounts in one set of inboxes at the top instead like below. You can also select what you want available in Quick Views.

    Hope this helps, :)

I agree with Brink, Windows Live Mail is very similar to Windows Mail with a bit more features, you need to pick up Windows Live Essentials and when it starts to install it will ask you what you want and you just check off Windows Live Mail
You can get it here Windows Essentials - Download Windows Live Essentials
I have been using it since Windows 7 came out and I have had very few problems with it

Am long time Thunderbird user, very satisfied. Let's one choose to combine accounts' folders (View > Folders > Unified), and direct access to the individual accounts' folders is a click away.

Edit: added snip of my 'stripped down to the core' settings :O)
