    IE 10 crashing

Was having problems with IE 10 crashing and restarting while visiting outlook.com of all places. Was able to view other sites without issue. After doing some research (evidently not enough) i decided to uninstall IE 10 via the control panel. After waiting for over an hour at the "Preparing to configure windows. Do not turn off your computer." I decided in my infinite wisdom to reboot.

After rebooting it came to the same point "Preparing to configure windows. Do not turn off your computer." I let it sit overnight and woke up to the same screen.

I just got done rebooting into Safe Mode and it said there was a problem with preparing windows and it was going to undo the changes. Its now been sitting at the "Preparing to configure windows. Do not turn off your computer." for almost an hour. Im going to let it sit for a few hours, but me thinks i messed up here.

Aside from using a recovery disk and trying to repair this mess, im wondering if anyone knows of of an easy fix?

Outside of system restore to an earlier time before the mishap/ which I'm sure you've probably already tried without success ?
You might be able to go to Programs and features and Turn windows features on or off,
Uncheck Internet explorer and boot when prompted,
Repeat and turn ie back on.
Or you might try to see if making a new admin account works any magic/ possibly the default account has not been corrupted.

    Hey;
I had the same problem with IE 10 crashing all the time.
Well today I figured it out now my browser hasn't crashed all day.
Just tick off software rendering in options.
    1. Go to Tools on the menu bar
    2. Go to Internet Options
    3. Click the advanced tab
    4. At the top is Accelerated Graphics
    5. Tick the box that says "Use Software Rendering instead of GPU rendering*
    6. Click apply then click OK.
    7. Close your browser then restart it.

    Your problem should be solved

Hope this works for you, It did me.
