Move .EML files to Outlook 2010 Folder?
I was forwarded a bunch of attached .EML files which are email messages. However, I'd like to drag all of these to a specific folder, but I cannot because Microsoft Outlook 2010 doesn't know what it is when I do that.
I can easily double click on the .EML message itself and it open with Outlook 2010, but dragging it to a folder doesn't work the way I expect. Can someone assist me with this? Trying to avoid downloading software I'm not familiar or comfortable with. |

That behaviour is correct.
Unfortunately this isn't an easy thing to solve - one option is to Export the .eml files from Windows Live Mail using the "Exchange Server" setting. Another is to use this free utility - its supposed to work without any problems, but I've nevr actually used it: Outlook Freeware - Import Messages from EML Format Let us know how you get on. |
