junk mail filter does not work

Repeated classification of mail sender as junk mail simply has no effect.
Can I 'repair' windows live mail?

Is this one particular sender? Are you adding them to your Blocked senders list, or only reporting as junk?

    To repair WLM

Start> In search box type programs and features> Enter> Scroll down to Windows Live Essentials> Right click it and choose the Repair option

None of the many sites, either as individuals or persons, are blocked as requested.
I've repaired Windows Essentials ( thanks for that ) and await results!

Do the senders you mark actually show up in the Blocked Senders list? In the Junk email settings, what level is it set to?

The level is set to 'high'.
Yes, some senders and domains that show up in the blocked list still appear in the junk mail folder, one of them almost every day!
