    Browser windows always on top of other open windows


    When I use Firefox, it is ALWAYS on top of other open windows. I can still drag the other windows with the mouse - but they remain under the Firefox window.

    Topmost Toggle may fix it while FF is running. I don't know why it would be set on top. You might ask on Mozilla forums if there's a setting or even a hidden or undocumented setting that somehow is being enabled.

    Start FF in safe mode and see if problem persists

    Open FF> Help> Restart with Add-ons Disabled

    If it behaves normally now, you can troubleshoot to see which addon is causing the behavior.

    You can also confirm the priority of the firefox.exe in task manager

    Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc)> Processes tab> Right click firefox.exe> Set Priority> Confirm it is set to Normal If not select Normal, and try it again)
