    Where to find Chrome Favorites?

On one of my computers I am about to upgrade to Windows 8. Having saved all the data that I can, I wish also to "save" Chrome Favorites, BUT where to find them on the C Drive.
    Thanks for any help.

Or also you could navigate to "Bookmarks Manager" in Chrome, pressing Ctrl+Shift+0 will get you there, then click the "organize" tab and then click "Export bookmarks to HTML file" you can then choose where to save that file and save it.
Once up and running with Windows 8 you could repeat the same procedure but click "Import Bookmarks from a HTML", navigate to where you saved the file before (best on a USB Stick) and job done.

    Thanks Maxie and Paul.

I can follow Maxie instructions and copy to RTF file.

Paul I can follow your instructions until I cannot find "organize"??

Sorry Paul, I did you a disservice, if I use CTRL+SHIFT+O I do get to "organize". Via Customize and Control tab, got me to "bookmarks" but not to "organize". That is where I went wrong. ooops, my apologies.

    Don't worry about it :)

Another method, which is fantastic if you have a google account is to click the tab for customize and control at the top right of the browser and log in, once logged in I believe it gives you an option to sync all your favorites etc (been a while since I did it) but once done any time you install chrome for the first time on a new device/computer and log in again then it automatically puts all your favorites back exactly as they were.

    Paul.
