    IE8 loading unwated pages [HELP!]

Hey guys I am having some issues with Internet Explorer 8 loading up unwanted pages that i am not able to see unless i terminate iexplorer.exe in the task manager.

It keeps on loading stupid pages from this stupid website (okay not stupid but i don't want it loading videos) Video Search Engine - Blinkx which is also something I have never heard of before until now.

THe only reason i was able to know what website is being loaded is beacuse after i kill the process and open IE8 it says I recently suffered a problem and if i want to reload my past session and which that website appears.

To better describe my issues is I am in MSDN Alliance for my school trying to get a program and it will suddenly load. I am also using Microsoft Security Essentials since its pretty and not annoying. I have all updates installed from M$ and Adobe updated.

This only happens in IE8 and not in Opera which im using to do this.

    **Update**
It loads into that website while doing anything in IE8, its really pissing me off, i need to use that junk of IE8 for school

Download Malwarebytes, update it, boot into safe mode, and run a full scan.

Thanks Airbot, i feel so stupid that i didn't try to check for this. it took care of it but there was key-logger info so i had to change things all my passwords.

Now if only I knew what i did to even get crap like that.

No problem, hopefully you got everything off. Just make sure you keep MSE updated and run full scans with it every so often, you could do the same with Malwarebytes, it gets updates a couple times a day at least. You have to manually update it with the free version, but you could just do that and run scans with that every so often too.

Another thing you might want to install is Spywareblaster, it's just a little app that provides passive protection against a lot of malware infested sites. just another little layer of protection. Just update it, then enable all protection.
