Anybody playing with IE11 yet?
Has anyone given IE11 a go? I just downloaded the developer Preview but haven't installed it yet. May do so this weekend.
Thoughts???
Thanks

I always wait for the final release,
Then install it on only one computer to see what it's like,
Preview are okay but are still beta so unless you have a second system to test it with you should also wait for the final release through the Windows update system,
Cheers.
Since this is an enthusiast site I know we have a few beta testers here. That's who I was hoping to hear from.
Thanks.
I tried it the 2 things I do not like about it is the new tab page it doesn't even show you all of your frequent websites and when you go and sign into a website your information and password is already filled in for you
It tried it for 2 hours then uninstalled. Many forum posting tools are not working and Facebook chat isn't working unless you change the User agent string. Some websites aren't displaying and functioning correctly. Banking sites refuse to log in or some of the links aren't working at all. Sometimes, a new blank tab page opens out of the blue. Finally, when on full screen mode, the address bar doesn't retract and when it retracts, it doesn't come back if you hover the mouse on the top so you can't escape full screen mode using the mouse.
The only upside is speed. It's a tiny bit faster than 10 but you have to pay attention to notice. I would consider IE 11 in the "alpha" stage at this point.
This is more a function of the website than IE as you can just choose not to save your credentials. You can also choose not to save cookies to avoid this.
Anyway this isn't a function exclusive to IE11. And I actually find this to be a positive function, especially when you're registered to a myriad of sites.
At any rate I'll have to give it a try myself to see what's going on as some of the issue reported have been stated before in other versions of IE - example the banking issue, which I've never experienced since going with on-line banking years ago.
Thanks
