Strange "ghost" appearance of Chrome Plugin Logo

To whoever may solve this small problem:

Since a few weeks, a gray rectangle with the Chrome Plugin Logo appears briefly whenever I refresh a Chrome browser page. Better than any description, please see the attachment. I can find no reason for this. In itself I can live with it, but would rather see it gone. If anyone knows anything about the occurrence, or has seen it happen and resolved the problem, please let me know.

Many thanks,

Best

Haku7

I would check your extensions in the chrome settings to see if you have a bad or outdated extension.
