    Staying Logged in

I have had a problem over the last 5 or 6 weeks and System Restore initially fixed it, but now even that isn't working.
The problem is I can't stay logged in on sites I usually stay logged into for days and some times weeks.
This is a real annoyance on E-bay and comments pages.
    HELP!

    What browser are you using?
What antivirus app or security suite?

(There is a place for both of these answers in your system specs.)

I'm thinking when a site see you are not active on their site for a period of time (days) the site logs you out.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium and Internet Explorer. Somebody earlier suggested
speedmaxpc.com. I went through all the motions and when I got to the end it suddenly said $40. I said stick it and got out. If money had been mentioned at the start it might have been different.
Layback Bear, I log on and make a comment, then go somewhere else and comeback 10 mins latter, and have to log on again. On E-bay I have always stayed logged on for 24 hrs at least, now as soon as I leave the site and come back I have to log on again.

Avoid programs that claim to optimize W7.
