    Hello AEM,

You can download the Firefox Flash add-on version from this link after you select your OS (Vista since that is all there is), click Continue, and select the "Other Browsers" for Firefox.

    Adobe - Adobe Flash Player

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Adobe - Adobe Flash Player

I would reinstall IE8. You don't have to make it the default browser and you can switch defaults anyway, it's easy.

    Here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/int...r/default.aspx

Don't forget to reinstall all the add-ons for IE...Flash, Java etc. etc.

From what I can read yes, IE must be installed for e-learning courses to work.

How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?

Just the reverse of how it was removed.

Cannot download IE8 as per Notice "Attention windows 7 user" link

Did you mean you ticked it in "Turn Windows Features On and Off", and it's not showing in your Start/All Program list even after a reboot?

(I had to boot over into my Win 7 as I was using Vista when I last answered you. I see now that IE8 is part of Win 7 RTM in any case & I believe that a beta version of IE8 came with Win 7 beta).

What version of Win 7 are you using and is it 32 or 64-bit?

That's right, i re-ticked the check box, the system then looked like it was re-installing, rebooted the machine and it's not in the Start menu.

    I'm using 32Bit.

I tried browsing the Cd to reinstall IE8 but can't find it..or not looking at right place.

Found it! It was sitting under Program Files but not under Start Menu.

Still need to find fix for Flash under FF.

aem, which country are you in so I can look for that elusive Flash player for FF?

On my Win 7, admittedly it's the final RTM version, IE is listed before all the programs at almost the very top in the Start menu.

At least you've now found it so you can place a shortcut to it on your desktop. Make sure Flash (& Java) is installed on it first.

It's very possible that e-learning doesn't work in beta versions...but I would have to research that a lot.
