New Adobe Flash Player WHQL 29.0.0.140 is available. See first post for more details. :)
I'm wondering if anybody else is seeing this issue. I open the Flash applet, tab to the Updates tab, click the Check Now button. The Adobe web site opens up on that page where they list the current version numbers. In a space above that table, there is supposed to be a small box. The box is supposed to show the version of Flash that you have installed. It takes one of two forms. Either it shows your current version number, says you're out of date, & gives you a button to click for getting the new version. Or it shows you your current version number, says you're up to date, & does not give you a button to click. I have let that page sit & sit & sit. Firefox shows a notice "Waiting for get.adobe.com" at the bottom of the page . . . FOREVER. Eventually everything times out & I don't get the little box showing my current installed Flash version. Doesn't matter how many times I refresh the page, I don't get the little box in the middle. I know about it because long ago, I used to always get it. Now, it just never appears. Anybody else seeing this?
To find what version of Flash you currently have installed, open Control Panel, select Programs & Features & look for the Adobe Flash installs, which will show the version & the date they were installed.
