Everyone should go here and ask Adobe to release a 64bit Flash Player, Perhaps a lot of requests can make a difference.

That would be for the 32-bit IE8 version. If it was the 64-bit version, you would see 64-bit to the right of the version number. :) Shawn A really EASY way to tell if you are running IE8 32 / 64 bit is to load the bbc home page (BBC - Homepage) Assuming you've installed the flash player plugin you'll see a little analog clock at the top right of the BBC home page screen in the 32 bit version but NOT in the 64 bit version. Screen clips of each shown Cheers jimbo |

What version of Windows 7 are you using? 32 or 64-bit?
If your using 64-bit, make sure you're not using the 64-bit version of IE as it does not currently support adobe flash. To check the version of IE you're running, open an IE page, click on Help, then About Internet Explorer and make sure it doesn't say anything about 64-bit. ![]() If it does, then you can access the 32-bit version by going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer, look for "iexplore.exe", right click and create a shortcut on your desktop or wherever, ![]() now you have the 32-bit version of IE when you click that link and you should now be able to install the Adobe Flash player. ![]() Hope this helps. |

Beware of latest Adobe Flash Player Update. The attached image says it all. If you have automatic updates enabled then Adobe will install what I would class as malware onto your system. |
