They're certainly dragging their feet over this. I would have thought that a 64-bit version would have been available by now, given that 64-bit computing has existed for several years.
See the following link: 64-Bit Support for Adobe Products
Ironically, it says at the bottom This content requires Flash.
With companies like Dell installing 64-bit Windows by default now, itl only get more popular.
tnx
Found a workaround until everyone gets onboard with 64 bit...
Just bought a new laptop with all the goodies already installed (including Windows 7 IE8 32 bit and IE8 64 bit). Tried everything to get Adobe Flash... Would not allow me to download hardly anything (Firefox, Opera for example) without getting an error message.
I WAS able to download Google Chrome and through GC I was able to get Flash and YouTube is working just fine. :) So, now our primary browser is Google Chrome and if needed IE 8 is still there.
Thanks to everyone with suggestions on this thread. You were all very helpful!
Or you could just do this... Latest Version of Adobe Flash Player
And as been mentioned, Flash will not even install on a 64-bit browser, thus the failed installs. It will install on the 32-bit version!
