Downloaded and installed. I really like that first time I am now able to watch Flash video fullscreen on other display and work on another.
Proper full-screen support for multi-monitor systems: At long last, users with more than one monitor would be able to play a full-screen video on one monitor while working with another monitor! Hurrah! This long-overdue feature alone is worth the upgrade.
    We have a winner!

That's good news but I've been doing that since back in the Flash 9.0 days, albeit with a bit of hex editing on the .dll.

Great to know such an option is now native. I never would have known the difference if you hadn't told me. It appears it's been included in the betas for some time now - that's why I love betas!

Thanks, Aaron. I missed that bit back in November. I just knew nothing changed from the days when I hex edited the dll to allow full screen on my dual monitors. I merely assumed a change was made at some point because I no longer had to do so.

You guys are awesome! I wish I had time to read everything. Thanks for all you do, Aaron. :)

I missed that too. That's IMO the the biggest fault Flash had. I'm satisfied now when full screen works as it should.

BTW, as of the February 8, 2011 update, Adobe is discontinuing support for Flash Player version 9. See Flash Player 9 no longer supported.

    Query

Am using IE9 RC on desktop and 8 on the lappy - runnning Win 7 Home and Pro (both 64bit) respectively, with almost identical apps and settings.

Now the other day I received an update from Adobe for Flash on the desktop but not the laptop. The desktop is showing version 10.2.152.26 and the laptop version 10.1.102.64.

Can someone explain this discrepancy - not that it is causing any problems except that Youtube will only play in the 32bit IE's, plus when in both 64bit IE's I get that Flash doesn't support 64bit systems yet message when one goes to download it.

Have tried the Adobe site and I cannot find the desktop's version listed anywhere, making me think I've downloaded a bogus app.

One last thing in my Kaspersky security I have two vunerables which I think are the two Adobe apps - Flash and reader in the laptop only which did not show on the desktop even before the latest uddate / grade.

Sorry to be so long winded but am not that savvy and have had extreme problems with Adobe in the past on the laptop.

10.2.152.26 is the current latest (stable) version. Doesn't matter if you're on a desktop or a laptop. Should be the same. *Active X* download is for IE. *Plugin* is for other browsers (firefox, etc)
