Doubtless you are using 32-bit version of IE8.
how do you execute IE in 64bit mode? it only runs in 32 for me.

Should be an entry for it in the Start Menu -Internet Explorer (64-bit)

Or Program Files-Internet Explorer. You can make a shortcut of it (iexplore).

It would also help a great deal if Adobe would specify on their download pages exactly which versions of Windows it does support, 32 or 64-bit.
I'm not a 64-bit-er yet, but soon will be soon so am planning ahead...LOL.
    Hi Peter,

It works in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. It's just that the 64-bit Windows has a 32-bit and 64-bit version of Internet Explorer included in it. By default, the 64-bit Windows uses the 32-bit IE since the flash player, and other add-ons, does not support running in the 64-bit IE. :)

LOL, yeah it would be nice to have more support for 64-bit IE add-ons so everyone can use the 64-bit IE by default instead of the 32-bit IE in 64-bit Windows.

LOL, say that 3 times fast.

Come on MEDOHEKAL you have to do some of the work yourself!
The first post, on the first page on this thread (where it says "<< First") tell you how to do the flash install.

When you have done that, everything should be fine. If not, THEN come back here and tell us in detail what you did and what happened.

Hello all. I'm running windows 7 32x, latest version of firefox and I followed the directions in the first post. Flash works fine in IE8, but I still cannot get it to work in Firefox. I used the uninstaller program and 'uninstall program' via the control panel and still nothing after a reboot.

    Am I missing something?

There are two downloads to choose from the one selected by default is for IE, if you need flash for a different browser you need to select the second option.

I'm an idiot. I didn't see that the second option had a drop down menu for the other browsers. Works like a charm now. Thank you!
