I play a few Flash puzzles online, some for years. In Waterfox, the titles are all on blank pages now. Can I play them with VLC? I've tried without success.
But one still plays in Chrome. O_o
Why did they issue a new version just before closing down?

have u tried Geo VidFlash Player ?

I have opened flash games (ones on my hard drive) - via Geo or Gom Player, never had any issue.

I'm not having an issue in playing any flash files even after update. Can you pm me link, if its not permitted to be posted here, so that I could cross verify - if its an issue isolated to you ?

This was the article I read, which we all knew was coming :
End of Life (EOL) for Adobe Shockwave

I like puzzles that really challenge my intelligence. Oddly, 2 of the games I play came back after the update, but I expect it's temporary till their contracts run out:
Bubble Shooter | Puzzle Games HQ
    Rowowor

Geo VidFlash Player is for files on your compute, but doesn't play within browsers. VLC already plays every file format, and it's open-source.

I tried both the games, I could play them directly on my browser (FF) - didn't need any media player to play them - just had to allow flash to be allowed in the page.

lol, I missed that part but can't u download the games ? I know there are softwares to download swf files, you can still play them - even if in case in future - game is taken off or blocked for some reason. I don't how their puzzles work though - may be they regularly update or don't - have no clue.

Puzzles are no different from other games. These aren't able to download; they play only on the site. It's OK. The only thing that's constant is change.

@Brink, do you have any idea why Adobe said they're killing it, then are continuing updates? End of Life (EOL) for Adobe Shockwave
