Most of the plugins are that way. From the sound of it, fully featured 64-bit browsers are still a long ways off.
That's part of the reason you don't see 64-bit versions of Firefox. |

Yes the Flashplayer won't work on IE8 (32 or 64) but works fine in Firefox on Windows 7 - Java won't install properly either but fine in Firefox... all little things that will be sorted in the next installment - roll on Beta in December.

I`m having weird problems with Flash. Flash-player seems to block my firewall unconcious, as it halts my internet completely. The problem is not with my ISP, as my Xbox 360 Live, which uses the same connection via router work normally even if Win7 won`t. Also Flash-based applications, mainly EA Download Manager, won`t work.
Now I`ve tried numerous solutions, like running the software in a compatibility mode and as an administrator, installing various drivers and stuff but none of this works. As said, this is really weird as any other internet activity gets through but Win7 won`t after trying some flash-apps. Just for the record, I`m running build 7000 64-bit and everything gets through a router. I have fought this problem now for several days, without a resolution and it`s driving me absolutely crazy! |

Beware of latest Adobe Flash Player Update. The attached image says it all. If you have automatic updates enabled then Adobe will install what I would class as malware onto your system. |
