Hello Stigansven,
Could be quite a few things.. Either you've entered your email somewhere online, or someone who has your email did, someone who has your mail could be hacked, you could be hacked etc etc etc.. If you could give us more info we'd be able to give you better and more accurate support, take a look here and work through the steps (starting at step 4) to give us some more info. After that, take a peep here to see how you can obtain the latest Outlook spam filter update. Alternatively, if you are only receiving those mails from one account, you could simply block that mail so that they can't send you anymore mails. Good luck and keep us posted, Nommy |

The reason I am asking this is because over the last few weeks I have been getting a few different 'porn' e mails. This has only happened since Outlook took over from Hotmail, all right I am old enough to be able to absorb this but my main concern is the grandchildren, because if they click by mistake I could be hacked, and that Is NOT ON MY LIST !!!. I do not think I have been Hacked for I have Malaware/ Kaspersky/ and C/Cleaner as downloads plus I do not get involved with Porn sites at my age. Peter

Sounds like it may be a good idea to set up a separate account for them with parental controls. Maybe they already accidentally clicked a few things. If you can't filter all the stuff out coming into your email account then you may have to change it. Your ISP may allow a half dozen or more email accounts in a household.
edit: also I'd run some complete scans with Malwarebytes and HijackThis to make sure you're not hacked now. |

Hello Stigansven,
Although I can't say why you are receiving those mails, I can help you get rid of them ![]() When you have received one of those mails, you can simply check the checkbox next to it and then report it as junk/phishing via the "junk" menu; ![]() That way you won't receive anymore mails from them. After that simply delete the mail and empty the deleted mails list. Alternatively, you can set Outlook so that it won't open any pictures, attachments and such in mails from unknown senders, and you could also make it so that all mails are automatically send to the junk folder, save for those from other accounts that you have whitelisted; ![]() You can access this menu by clicking on the cog in the upper right corner, then clicking on "More email settings" and then on "Filters and reporting" in the upper right menu. If you are receiving those mails from multiple accounts and the above options don't stop them, then it'd be a better and safer idea to, as MilesAhead suggested, create a new, clean account for your grandchildren. Good luck and keep us posted, Nommy |
