I can't change my homepage in IE11

    OK, an idea no one has suggested, uninstall Internet Explorer all the way back to IE 8

    See if that works, you can always re install IE 11, but I recommend only going to 10 right now, wait a while to install 11 :)

    I tried this link and it does work. Now i have my homepage back!

    Use the second option through Local Group Policy Editor (Click Start , type gpedit.msc in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER)

I just upgraded my browser to IE11, I finally figured out to change the browser mode in IE11 to get my add-on to work, but when I close that particular menu for browser mode the page refreshes and goes back to IE11 mode how can I make this stay put on one particular webpage
When I logout of an MS email account (hotmail.com, live.com ...) I am automatically taken to msn.com. Is there a way I can specify where to go upon logout? How? -thnx
I am still trying to use some of the new features in IE11 and when I hit f12, I can no longer find the compatibility mode to where you can change certain webpages to make them work as if they were on a previous version of Internet Explorer

A couple of years ago new software installed crapware that captured my homepage and wouldn't allow me to change it back to my preferred. I ultimately found the appropriate steps in a forum to rectify that. As I recall, it called for removal of a startup program and a registry change, but I'm not...
