Credits if this works - https://discussions.apple.com/message/13010316#130103161. Connect your iPhone to the computer using the supplied USB cable and launch the iTunes application, if it does not launch automatically. iTunes displays your iPhone on the left panel under "Devices."
2. Click your iPhone on the iTunes panel and click the "Info" tab. Click "Sync contacts with" and select "Outlook."
3. Select "All Contacts" if you want to sync all the contacts from your iPhone to Outlook. If you want to select specific contacts, click "Selected groups" and place a check on the contacts you want to sync to Outlook.
4. Click "Apply" to sync your iPhone contacts to Outlook. Click the "Eject" button on the right panel and disconnect your phone from the computer. Close iTunes.
5. Launch Outlook and click the "Contacts" tab. You should see the imported iPhone contacts.

i just tried syncing iphone with outlook via itunes but it didnt work as when i opened outlook and checked my address book; no entries were there. So how do i fix this so it will work?
I also tried what some of the apple community posts said to do and that was to sync via itunes with outlook closed and then re open outlook and check the address book; but again i did that and still no address book entries are present. What can i do to fix this problem? thanks Matt
If you have a Google Account, sync with Google Contacts using iTunes. Go to your Google Contacts from Gmail in a browser and export your contacts to a csv file for Outlook. Import that csv file into Outlook.
Well I forgot to post here yesterday but I got that problem solved by temporarily turning off the adds ins(as suggested by someone in Another thread) or outlook and then re syncing iTunes with outlook. Thanks for the reply though. :)
