http: does have a program associated with it

I suddenly am getting this message each time I click on a website link. What happened and how do I fix it?

    Hello Barnum,

See if setting Internet Explorer as the default program for all of it's associations in Default Programs may help.

    Hope this helps, :)

Finally fixed it by going to associations and clicking on the "Custom" down arrow and clicking on Internet Explorer. Google Chrome is one big pain.

I was doing chromium for a couple of years. If you have 64 bit W7 try out Pale Moon. I'm on the latest version now on 64 bit Windows 8. It's quick, smooth, and loads quickly. Really nice if you like FF AddOns. If not Opera has a 64 bit version now that's also very nice.

If you're on 32 bit then, ... never mind. :)
