    Changing Thunderbird's Folder and Thread Panes Fonts

    Running Thunderbird 24.2 under Win 7 SP1.

    The fonts in my TB24.2 are way to small for these tired old eyes to read comfortably. I would like to increase them.

    Here is my userChrome.css file and it looks like they are being set to 10pt. I have tried changing that to 16pts and 20pts but the still remain at their small size. I have also tried setting them globally also but they still remain small.

    All I read in the Mozilla KB's and other articles on the web makes me believe making such changes in my userChrome file is the way to make them bigger but have had no success. I have only one profile and and one userChrome.css on the machine.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you very much.

    functioning */
    /* set default namespace to XUL */
    @namespace

    /* Set Font Size In Folder Pane */

    #folderTree >treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text {
    font-size: 10pt !important;line-height: 150%, !important; }

    /* Set Font Size In Thread Pane */

    #threadTree >treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text {
    font-size: 10pt !important; }

    #folderTree >treechildren::-moz-tree-row {
    height: 20px !important; }

    #threadTree >treechildren::-moz-tree-row {
    height: 20px !important; }

    Thank you.

    Yes indeed I did. I had neglected to create a Chrome folder in which to put the userChrome file. I just put it in the profile itself!
