    Send to one note option

I do not have the Send-to-OneNote option in my IE11. I am using One Note 2010 and I really miss the ability to send stuff from web pages to ON2010. Thanks in advance for all help.

    Hey there,

I am just going to copypasta an article that may help,

    http://www.onenotegem.com/2/post/2013/09/how-to-use-send-to-onenote-or-bring-to-onenote-in-ie-11-in-win81.html said:
The reaseon is IE 11 enhanced the protected mode.
If we want to make Send to OneNote or Bring to OneNote works in IE 11, we need to disable the protected mode.

Open "Internet Options" from IE 11.
    Click the "Security" tab.
Unchecked the "Enable Protected Mode ( requires restarting Internte Explorer )
Click "OK" and restart the IE 11
    Hope this helps some!

EPM isn't activated by default that I've seen personally on a 64 bit machine,
    A local resource is here,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/280434-internet-explorer-10-enable-32-bit-64-bit-ie10-windows-7-a.html
    Ie11 security improvements,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/news/311535-ie11-makes-over-40-web-more-secure-while-sites-still-work.html
Most of the security improvements can be used in ie10 so if the option worked in ie10 rolling back would cure that issue pretty quickly,

    Downgraded from ie11 to ie9

I have just downgraded from ie11 to ie9 and want it to stay that way; in other words, I don't want ie11 to be reinstalled automatically on my machine. Can someone please tell me how to make sure of this? Thanks in advance.

ie11 is still a Optional windows update,
One day I'm sure it will be turned into a Important update just like ie10 and all others version in the past,
How did you manage to get rid of ie10 and what problems were you having with ie10 if any ?
The bottom line is if you don't want Optional windows updates you should uncheck the option in your windows update settings,
    Change your windows update settings,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2797-windows-update-settings-change.html
    Hide the ie11 update,

    Cheers.

The whole problem started with my not being able to "send to One Note" any more. The option simply disappeared. Someone suggested that going back to ie10 would bring the option back. So I went to control panel and uninstalled the ie11 update and lo and behold I ended up with ie9 AND still unable to send to One Note. That is where I am now. I have tried Chrome and even then I still cannot send to One Note. So, as I was told before my first jump: if at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you. I give up; I'll just copy-and-paste from the net to One Note.

I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I just shrugged my shoulders and walked away from it. The truth is that at the moment I still have nothing to report. I have even tried to re-install my MS Office 2003 Professional to see if that would make a difference and it made no difference at all. I tried uninstalling my anti-virus (AVG) and that made no difference. I installed Firefox and Chrome and still cannot "send to One Note". I tried going back to ie10 from ie11 but it seems that ie10 disappeared and I'm back to ie9 ..... and still no "send to One Note". I should like to come back and shout Eureka! but I can't, though I promise to as soon as I can "send to One Note" again. You have no idea how much I miss the option/convenience.
