Umm again, you can copy and paste the image by using the shortkeys, cntrl c and cntrl v
First of all thanks to all of you who take the time to solve and post answers! You are super, and have helped me many times solve issues.
I am also VERY disappointed in Microsoft and agree that each time they "upgrade" it is many times a downgrade and much more complicated and worse. That the simple action of inserting a picture in a reply email in Outlook can't be done, is inexcusable - what were they thinking??? I love most of the features in Outlook and it is a super email program, but omitting this feature is like leaving one of the turn signal switches missing in a car......
Google on the other hand is really something - as almost anything you want to find out about anything is on GOOGLE!!
I have Windows 10 (I liked 7 better) but this should work for Windows 7 also:
Though not ideal, the simplest way I have found is: Copy and paste the email you are replying to into a new email - then use the insert picture tab, as it is easily done in new emails. You will need to also copy and paste the subject line, and the persons replied to.
Hope this helps, and hopefully Microsoft will fix this issue as it is a pretty basic requirement for most users.
