Error message: WEBPAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED

Ever since I have updated to IE 11, I have problems printing coupons from Printable & Downloadable Coupons. Grocery, Health, Beauty | redplum.com. I have tried all their suggestions on their help site. This is what I have done:
    1. Temporary files and cookies were deleted.
    2. Uninstall Java 7 update 45.
    3. Installed Java 7 update 45 again from www.java.com.
    4. Closed Internet browser.
    5. Went back to the website www.redplum.com. Selected a coupon to print.
    6. Here is where things go wrong. All that comes up is "webpage cannot be displayed." You are supposed to be able to install the printing software at this point.
PLEASE NOTE: I did not have problems with this until IE 11. I am running Windows 7 on an HP desktop.

    Please help.

I just visited RedPlum, clicked a coupon to print, clicked Print and the bottom of the page said, "New users may have to install this software". I have IE11. You may have to disable the popup blocker for the site.

Now having said that, I tell my wife all the time if installing software is needed to print a coupon, it ain't worth having, it's sneakware, Possibly Unwanted Program, or PUP. If a vendor want you to have a coupon it should simply display it and use IE11's print function, no software needed.

Unfortunately the software is needed to print coupons so that they will be accepted by stores and have the proper barcodes. I tried some additional things such as:
    1. Disable Norton antivirus temporarily
    2. Change security settings from medium-high to medium temporarily
    3. Disable pop-ups
None of these changes makes any difference. I still am not able to install the printing software.
NOTE: This coupon printing problem is also related to the Kellogg's website (www.kelloggsfamilyrewards.com)
as they also Red Plum technology for being able to print coupons.

Any more suggestions as to how to make this work? Like I mentioned before this was not a problem before IE 11 was installed.
    Thanks.

I would suggest trying a different browser, such as Opera or Pale Moon. You could revert to IE10 by uninstalling IE11 too.

I had to use Opera for awhile to order Marlboro coupons because they had not configured their site to be IE11 compatible. Now it works in IE11. I would suspect it's the fault of Red Plum not updating their browser code, or something like that.

As a note, I regularly print coupons from Speedway, a gas station, with no "coupon software". When I click the coupon it displays it in a new window and I can print using the File menu/Print form the browser, and it prints the bar code and it works.

My sentiments exactly britton; If you need a software program to print a coupon(s); then its almost not worth as there could be underlying software such as mawlare and who know what else hidden in there which hackers/thieves tend to try and spread around the internet these days. Another problem i think its internet explorer 11 itself. 11 has caused numerous issues for me; so i just said adios to it and went back to ie 10. 11 has cause my desktop gadgets to disappear, and the list goes on and on. Its mainly because IE 11 is really designed for windows 8; not 7. And with the way the layout is with windows 8 with the tiles, that could be the issues between them

EDIT: I would still reccomend the firefox browser itself from mozilla. I use that one exclusively and ive really had nothing to complain about.

    Ie11 security improvements,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/news/311535-ie11-makes-over-40-web-more-secure-while-sites-still-work.html
This could just be Active x filtering blocking ?
Gear symbol and Safety see if the option is Checked if so Uncheck it,
Also make sure Enhanced Protection Mode is not checked as well in Internet options/ Advanced section,

I doubt it Yahoo has always been slow at updating content,
Some of the worst add-ons developed come with the Yahoo toolbar,
Yahoo's home page has so much yuck on it/ active x content or flash content...
Besides they got hacked a couple of weeks ago and most of the adds were filled with malware so this went on for at least a week and possibly more,
I can't say msn.com is any better as far as active x content/ Flash pretty much why I use mymsn.com instead it has One advertisement and that's it everything else are items I added via customized content,
    Cheers.

You might try the site in Compatibility View

Internet Explorer Compatibility View - Turn On or Off

Or try changing the document mode or user agent string

How to change Browser mode in IE11
