    email on Android

My kids bought me an Android Tablet which I'm very unfamiliar with. That's a nice way of saying that I don't know crap about it. So I set up an email account using Gmail which I don't like. So I have two questions: 1) how do I delete that account? 2) What is another good email service that will work on the Android?

You may want to keep that Google account, you don't have to use it for email but you need an account to use the app store. (Google Play)

Don't know why it wasn't listed in that "top 5", but obviously this is a very subjective topic.

Anyway, I use MailDroid Pro on my Galaxy S4, to support my primary POP3 mail server account as well as my Gmail account. Gives me pretty much all the same capability as the POP3 email client program (Agent) I use on my PC.

    Highly recommended.
