MS will always change their ways, whether it's beneficial to us common users is another thing.

Hotmail.com should redirect to live.com. MS changed it several months ago to Outlook, so it looks like Win8 stuff. Type in either one.
Yes, that works. But only today is the first time I've noticed that(when i write Hotmail.com not redirected to anywhere). I thought the address was no longer available.

But now I see all this normal... for now... MUAHAHAHAHA
Oddly enough, a person that I support also had this problem today.
They are still not being redirected from hotmail.com to live.com.
Interesting. When I wrote the post, I still had some problems to go to live.com
It's working, we'll see if it stays that way.

It have fixed this problem that person ?

I changed each bookmark that pointed to hotmail.com to point to https://mail.live.com instead.

That link came up just fine

Hotmail.com never stopped redirecting for me and I tested it on 4 different ISPs. It seemed to be a temporary DNS thing. For the person that I support, they were not able to get to the hotmail.com website to be redirected. That sounds like what you were seeing too.

Periodically hotmail.com is quirky. It usually clears up in a few hours or a day at most. I've had accounts there prior to MS acquiring it. It always comes back.

But as I saw not redirected to live.com, these two possibilities were : traffic or was disabled. Discard the traffic because it had never happened, as far as I know.

I just tried it at 2253Z, Jan 25 and it worked OK. Lots of Viagra ads to delete.
